I ride pretty much every day but wear a helmet for probably only 10% of all the riding I do.
It's compulsory for me to wear one when coaching and guiding at work
Didn't you just say most of your local riders are outraged you don't wear a lid?
Just be grateful you don't live in nanny state Australia where its actually illegal to not wear a helmet when riding your bike.
how unfair of society to make stuff mandatory that everyone needs to pay for in case things go wrong...
Yeah like helmets for boxing, skateboarding, roller-blading, snow-boarding, football, rugby, scooters and martial arts. Oh wait - none of those require helmets legally.
