whats the best place for this? so far i've only looked at godaddy.com, because thats the only place I know. I'm looking to register a domain name, get a few email adresses, and get a few gigs of storage and a few gigs of transfer.

I have used them for 3 years without many issues other than the upload can be slow. But I just use my site mainly for storage. If it was I business, I would probably look into something else.
