Riding the baggage carousel.
Girlfriend’s dad passed late in the day on Monday, my Grampa passed today. She’s in RI taking care of all those affairs, I’ll be heading back to IN for Grampa’s funeral. Maybe she’ll meet me on her way back to CO? I dunno. It’s been a weird week... at least I’ve managed to keep the doggos alive while she’s been gone.
Dislike.

1100 feet per 10 miles is solid.
Are you on Strava?
Nah, I'm anti-social :)

Normal target for each year is 3650 miles, 500,000ft vert. Normally wife and I are close with a bunch of DH days on top.

My condolences, Evan. Shaina’s dad couldn’t have been that old(?).

where the trails are
Am I the only one that likes slow ass, technical climbs that keep the group of real athletes within my line of sight?

@6thElement ... have you ridden Cub Creek? Tentative for Friday morning.

Heading out from my house I'm on dirt straight into the closest park, similar ratio to the above, e.g. yesterday was 9 miles, 1800ft.

Cold and rainy today, but sometimes you just have to get over it. I mean literally climb the fuck over it.

In hell. Welcome!
Sorry to hear, @FT.
I am totally spoiled by the low humidity heat here in my home country. 90s in Boston are going to beat the crap out of me soon.
