yoga dude. trust me. lots of good instructional videos can be found on youtube to help loosen up your hips and lower back.hella stiff from yesterdays ride, mostly upper hip area. I'm seriously debating about doing another ride after work, don't know if I'm going to be up for it.
Not being an unemployed hippie = priceless.Mornin! Jerb offer is supposed to roll in this morning. I'm anticipating something a bit lower than what I was hoping for, but at this point, something > nothing.

new pike or old? the old ones are easy to work on at least.mornin. had a sh!tty ride on my favourite trail last night. hit a jump too fast, landed in some rocks and I think I blew up the compression circuit in my Pike. fail. at work, a lot tired. I think I'm ready to hang up the bike and get out on skis. if only the snow would fall.
You could always go with someone else. Oh wait. You can't.Also. Fvck Comcast.
new. playing with compression settings does nothing, and it seems the rebound damping is shot too. I heard the bottom out (it sounded violent), and when I came to the end of the dh, I noticed my front tire was flat too... it was at night, so I don't really know what I hit, but it musta been some rocks. I landed rear wheel first so I'm thinking there must've been some sort of leverage at play... I don't think my LBS has seen any of these new Pikes, so I'm not too sure what to do. I'll give them a call when they open and see what they suggest.new pike or old? the old ones are easy to work on at least.
Shoot it back to RS. They'll take care of you. Besides - it's ski season. You said so yourself.new. playing with compression settings does nothing, and it seems the rebound damping is shot too. you have no idea how much that response hurts. it's like 54°F here today. It seems like winter will never arrive. Shoulder seasons suck. Maybe I should start a thread asking how you survive the shoulder season?!Shoot it back to RS. They'll take care of you. Besides - it's ski season. You said so yourself.
Sustaining engineer for a medical device contractor in Boulder. Sounds like a pretty neat opportunity, I'm kind of excited to get going again. That and to buy toys.PS88 - what's the jeeeeyoorrrrb?
forgive my ignorance, but what does a "sustaining engineer" do? Boulder sounds nice.Sustaining engineer for a medical device contractor in Boulder. Sounds like a pretty neat opportunity, I'm kind of excited to get going again. That and to buy toys.
work conducted on product that is on market vs npd (new product developtment, ie R&D type work, pre launch work)forgive my ignorance, but what does a "sustaining engineer" do? Boulder sounds nice.

You got it. It doesn't sound like they have put much focus on optimizing their product lines. So I'll be helping identify areas of improvement, putting together proposals for cost reduction opportunities, and helping implement those. Much more flexible and hands on than my last job. So that's a welcomed change.work conducted on product that is on market vs npd (new product developtment, ie R&D type work, pre launch work)
you'd be surprised the number of MD&D companies that have little focus on sustaining engineering, very little of the manufacturing is automated. You got it.
