I went probably six weeks over the summer holidays without coffee, then by bad luck was real tired first day back at work. Wellington is famous for good coffee; had a People’s double espresso from fresh beans to ‘wake me up’. Totally fucked myself. Didn’t sleep, anxiety, elevated heart rate. Been staying off the good stuff since then, dangerous.
