I remember a few years ago they were open in the summer. Did anyone ride there (near Glens Falls), and was it worth it?

West will not open for mtn. biking this summer. Doubt they ever will again. Great mountain, great trails but their mgmt sucks. I live in Glens Falls.

There's great DH in them hills at West Mtn....
Picture Mt. Snow speeds that lead HOT into tight woods sections :hot:
Rocks are smooth as a babies ass and R perfectly round.
Makes for some great Dh riding and racing.

If I was a local I'd be poaching my a$$ off up there.

I did a race a West a while back (actually was my first race). It was downright UNREAL how slow that lift moved, but the trails were cool. Great woods riding, big steeps, big rocks- a good time.
