You can hit up Clemson, Paris Mtn, in Greenville, and ton of riding in Asheville.

also Fants Grove is worth the trip though it may be a little muddy with recent heavy rains map HERE
Issaqueena's going to be your nearest trail system, and you'll have close to eighty miles of single track out there to deal with. The trails are well-maintained and fun, but not very technical for the most part. [unless you venture over to the truly awesome downhill course]
If you're willing to drive for an hour or so, check out Dupont State Forest. It's just over the border in NC, and has lots of really great trails, including some slickrock stuff.
