In other news, I need to straighten the DR hanger on my low ball bike. Given the number of sticks I have harvested from trails so far, I am surprised it hasn't snapped, yet.

i live near the james audubon house, so naturally they do a lot of work w/ the audubon society. can't remember who they're doing it in conjunction w/ with but they're working to reintroduce american chestnuts down here too.

We have three we planted quite a few years ago, given to us as seedlings by the American Chestnut Foundation. They're dropping viable seed, which tends to germinate under the trees, so I'm moving the seedlings. The chestnut is one of the faster growing trees I have played with.

I’ll actually buy them and have them mounted Nov 24 or 25, because $100 visa gift card Black Friday deal.

Well..... Shit.......

So this happened this morning. Road fell off in front of me, went to back up and slid left off the road. Crawled out the passenger side as the snow was half way up the driver's door.

Spent the next three hours digging with my poor little GI style shovel to get clear....... Once back up on the road I started a fire to get warm and of course that when the forestry department happened by.......
