I just recently built up another wheelset for my Iron Horse SGS and got to thinking about what other bikes can take a 165mm x 12 mm thru-axle rear hub (thinking about a future frame purchase...). I can think of the following:

Be-one (the DH frame and woodmumble frame)
Nicolai

Anyone know of any other frames? I'll probably be in the market for a new ride within the next year and a half so I'd like to start thinking and budgeting too.

Just a suggestion Simon, don't limit your frame choices because of the rear hub

I'll be there at the Blue Cup. I probably be at Blue riding this Sat. on Showcase picking my lines. As for the post at hand, I just built a new rear wheel on a Ringle Abba SOS hub that I picked up a little while ago. So I've got the two 165 mm x 12 mm rear wheels. I think the Ringle will last a while so I thought I start checking out some frames.

Last year's Kona Stab DH bike had it, but this year supposedly downsized to 12x150, which looks like it may become the "DH standard"...

nope 150/12, I think NOX bikes also use a 165 rear!?
