Hi all...

I have some parts that require a grease gun to maintain. What kind of grease guns work best?


These cheap/easey ones that use regular bike grease in the tube

Or the more "industrial" ones that use grease cartridges or that you bulk-fill?

Can anyone reccomend a specific one they like/use? Ideally it would have a removable/replacable nozzle for various fittings (like the threaded Turner ports vs other press-in ones)

I've got one of these personally, and we had a couple of 'em at the shop I used to work at. They're great, super cheap, and you can get a number of different tips for them.

I ordered my Spitty a few days ago. Lg Black Ano Can't wait!! just trying to get everything in order before it arrives.. So is this what you use for your Spitty?

Most parts will come from my IH MK3

Frame - Lg Spitfire Black Ano
Fork - 2008 Fox 36
Brakes - Juicy 7's to start, but I have a new XT rear in my parts box, so maybe Saint front, XT rear
Drivetrain - RaceFace cranks (I forget which... Evolve maybe?) PG990 casette, X9 shifters
Wheels - Hadley rear with Mavic 819 & a Generic WTB OEM front. I may switch over to Stan's ZTR's front and back though.
Seatpost - Thompson, but I may do a Reverb when I get more $$
Stem - 70mm 20 degree Easton EA50
Bar - Titec Titanium (Flat bar, but I'm doing the 20 degree rise stem to make up for it)
Seat - WTB or this new "Prologo" I got on closeout

Sweet. That'll be a good build. I'm a little jealous of the black ano, though I've got 2 other black bikes so maybe mixing it up is good. Mine's the team silver and blue one. Didn't have black available when I got it.

LOL.... The three bikes I actually ride are all black.
