Are you serious? They are of a decent weight, (getting numbers now), on par with any quality crankset for price, hell the new saint crankset is $425, run FSA mega external bearings and are a really good looking set of one piece machined aluminum.
The market would definitely support them and many people including myself are waiting for them.

Way too many pointless style curves and stress concentration points. Lots of places where there is extra metal doing nothing, and other spots with sharp inside corners in high stress areas. Don't get me wrong, I'm a CNC machining nut, but only where it's actually useful. An I-beam shape will never be as strong/stiff/light in torsion as a hollow-forged design like shimano.
