One of my friends has an 04 Evil, that he just bought a darodo DC for. In my opinion this will be the stupidest thing I have ever seen. What is the deal with people and putting DC's on a hardtail? Is their any benifit to this?

One of my good friends runs a DC on a HT and its his DH bike he likes the hard tail feel but when he is shmoben through rock gardents the 7 inch fork helps
For DH racing or serious hucking, a DC make sense on a really strong hardtail like the Evil. Otherwise, it's a crummy Pinkbike trend, IMHO. *yawn*
