Patron is good, but over hyped and over priced.

For a few dollars more, this is far better.

Agreed. However where I live Don Julio is cheaper than Patron.

This is about 20 bucks a bottle and is on par with Patron reposado. It's great for sipping, mixing, and cooking with. I don't like to mix Don Julio though.

My favorite for mixing with: Corzo Silver

My favorites straight up right now are:

Aha Toro Anejo Artesanal (a little strong oak barrel taste but good)
Arandas
Cazadores Anejo Tequila
Cazadores Reposado 100%
Chinaco Anejo 100% Agave
Corralejo Anejo
Don Julio Anejo
El Jimador Reposado (great for daily abuse lol)
El Tesoro Anejo ( new bottle design , one of the best I think)
Gran Centenario Leyenda Extra Anejo
La Cofradia Anejo Edicion Iguanas
Lapis Anejo Tequila
Los Tres Tonos Reposado ( really smooth)
Mañana Anejo ( nice flavor and smooth too )
Milagro Anejo

I was going to post that a little while ago but I'm at work and didn't want to pick through a hundred nude pictures to find one SFW shot :p
I'm at work too but I'm the 'regulator' around these parts. Talk about a corrupt security force.

Don Julio. But I stay away for reasons similar to Zarks. Every time a bottle gets drained when I partake, evil overcomes me.

Now this monkey knows what he's talking about!

My faves are Don Julio, Patron, and El Tesoro. Herradura silver is good for margaritas.

I won't drink any "tequila" that isn't 100% agave. I rather be sober than drink swill like Jose Cuervo Gold. (Some of the premiums Cuervos are pretty good.)

if you can find it, gran centenario plata....or the anejo or reposado. they're all amazing. but the plata is by far the loveliest to drink. too bad canada hasn't heard of it :shakefist:

It always starts off good. I say to myself I should remember the name of this great tequila. Then the next thing I know I am waking up in the park by my house. Happens every time...

A bartender gave me a taste of a tequila once, and it was awesome. It was in a very odd looking bottle, and I can't remember what it was called, or what it looked like. I think it had a super long neck, or it was a curvy bottle.

Anyone have any ideas?

I used to be simple--- Cuervo Gold. Then, while celebrating my youngest brother's wedding in a little town of Matape (an hour outside of Hermasillo, MX), I was introduced to this home brew called Bacanora. Seems the bride's father's brother does the brewing, and dang if it didn't burn the nostril hairs. Went down smoooth, though, so now I just have to learn how not to exhale when I drink it. Gave some of it to my boss for scheduling me off so I could attend the wedding. I don't know if he likes me or not................

Pretty low for mine, never liked that nasty stuff myself, but if you drink enough of it, you dont care anymore

where does Cabo Wabo stand in everyones list?

No little bottles of Don Julio, buy the big bottle, you wont be dissapointed.

I'll have to try some Don Julio. Do they make little shot bottles of it?

For me, its Don Julio Anejo, or Patron Silver/Anejo for sipping/drinking, Sauza and cuervo are just fine for Margaritas and other mixed drinks, but for shooting.... Its all about the Firegod... Jalepeno Tequila.... FInd it, you wont be dissapointed
