A '97 8 spd XTR rear derailluer.

I have the same type and it has been on several bikes, lended out to be on friends bikes as well. Best most reliable design Shimano has had IMO. Friend of mine has two of the same in almost new condition. He won't sell them.

Saw one on EBAY in 85% condition and it sold for $70 back a few months ago.

My dh bikes have newer components. My cross bike has Shimano 747 pedals from '97 or '98. They are still going strong!!

Every now and then I dig out my old Torsten Hallman Desert Pants, ca. 1970, and do a practice run in 'em for fun (same ones I wore when I was in high school racing MX)
