Hey, I might be working in anderson california this summer at a forestry technician position (hopefully). what kind of riding is there near there? i know NOTHING about california so ya.

There is quite a bit of riding around Redding. There are even some races, like the BigFoot Classic (XC and DH). Not a whole lot of board members from there, but dont let that decieve you. Call some shops.

There is some Bomb XC stuff real close.

Some sicker DH stuff a little bit out of the way.

well that's good to hear, i've never even been anywhere in the state of CA so this should be interesting. i guess its not too far from sacramento and it seems there's a fair number of people on RM from there so ya

Ride Wiskeytown near Redding. There are good trails there but you'll do a equal amount of climbing to downhilling. There is also a slalom trail on the Sacramento River Trail at the turn around.
