I am quite new to BMXs but was just wondering how to work out what size frame you go for? I see things like 20", 20.5", 20.75", 21" and so on.

I'm 6' and running a 21". you'll see people running the gamut of sizes though. It's all about whatever you like...

It depends mostly on your height. How tall are you? Those numbers you listed are the top tube lengths.

I am spot on 6 feet tall. But I have relatively speaking slightly shorter legs and slightly longer body. Don’t know if that makes any difference. But I’m guessing slightly longer would be good for me. If I was to get a 20.75" I guess it could not be that far wrong?

it's more about preference than height. i know guys over 6 feet who feel perfectly comfortable on my 20.25 frame. if you have a local bike shop that has a variety of bikes...try some out, or ask locals
