Good to know. I did not have time to make a punkin pie, so I settled for a sixer of pumpkin ale. Not quite what I was expecting. This is from Sea Dog Brewing Co. out of Maine. More of a lager flavor....even though it says ale. Oh well, not a huge $ outlay.

You can get that down here..... to us kiwi's "Pie" generally denotes a meat pie.
heh if you don't belive me, ask MikeD about pies in NZ.

You can get pies like Steak and montiths (Montiths is a beer).
My personal fave is Venison red wine and Thyme. :love: :love: :love:

LOL! The great debate...I will be making several homemade cheese cakes for various family gatherings throughout the weekend!
