Its in good working order it has brand new oil and rebuilt damping side and fresh grease in the spring side. It only needs seals which are like 25 bucks i would need more than 50 to get rid of my back-up.
I hadn't heard of that frame either, I was going to guess some super crazy wallmart style bike, but then I looked at the kit it had and thought otherwise.
Like many manitou products, they probably held up for a season, maybe two, and then were trash. With poor or lack of oil seals/bath/lubrication, it's only a matter of time.
I rode the DH rig today. pretty nice actually. The finish isnt there on the powdercoat, but im sure that will get solved. the suspension feels nice. cycles back and up, so it rolls over **** well. Didnt get a ton of seat time but the little i did felt promising.
