i was thinking of a manitou goldlabel 2 and an atomlab pimplite for the front wheel... any thoughts? it will go on my transition t-o-p.

Say no to gold labels. They feel like absolute poo.
You could save a bunch of weight, get way more adjustability, and a better feeling fork by going with a Pike. As for a front wheel, 729's are where it's at.

what about an rs argyle, i dont know when theyre being released tho...
i agree with the pike idea. and if its a 3 in fork you seek, you can actually replace the springs in a pike with those of a RS recon and your fork will get between 80mm and 120mm.
Go with a pike and an Arrow FRX. id stay away from pinned seams they usually dont last as long
