So I got a flat up in snowshoe riding tubeless, so I just let them put a tube in it. I handed them a maxxis DH tube amd they said it will not work, why ? and what tubes should I use?

Was it a Shrader valve? Mavic tubeless have holes for prestas.

Sorry, have another question.

Do the Maxxis freeride tubes have just as good pinch flat resistants Etc.. Considering do you save a couple hundered grames per tube over the DH version?

Also what about the Welter Weight Tubes?

thinner tubes pinch flat easier, but just use a few more psi.

I like normal tubes. DH tubes make the bike so sluggish.

if you are using ust tires, then you want a thicker tube, or just run higher pressures. ust tires are quite bad with pinch flat as they lack that butyl insert, they also have a higher tpi carcase i think.

with maxxis dh tires, xc tubes will work fine. as long as you run sensible pressures.
