Im about to order a 8.75 x 2.75 DHX 5.0 for my demo 8, but as most of you know, there is some fabrication required to make it fit right. I have seen that some of you guys have actually had to machine your parts, and i would not be able to do this. So my question is, can anyone on here make the parts that i would need and then send them to me? I would be willing to pay. Or, can anyone walk me through a way to make it fit using materials found at the local hardware store? Thanks

Sully,
You need to remove the DU from one side(Specialized genius design?), measure the width of the mount(swingarm) minus the width of the shock eyelet....create some washers with the correct ID and don-ta-da-donnnnnn.....you've got some hardware.

The DU is the little bushing in your shock eyelet. and ID is inside diameter
