I have done a few and each one has been different. Choose one that has less hills and you should be fine. When i did the NYC Century it took me some time but i was absolutely fine after it. It didint have any major climbing in it, i was tired but not whooped. Previously I had only rode around 60 miles maximum so it was a big step up for me.

btw - I stay away from the Gu's and all that stuff though I have been experimenting with Nuuns. Regular Gatorade(mixed half and half w/ water) and snickers work well, and they can be found anywhere.
Nice. I like to do this little route but starting from my friends house, that adds about 25+ miles and a few thousand feet of climbing. Steep sections average 12-15% grades.
