Was at the race, very rad to see it go down. Eli did well, we were all pulling for him!
I'd like to know if Ryan V. was biding his time behind James and just hit that troublesome loose right hand and went down, or if he was at max to match Bubba's pace when his low sided. Fingers crossed these two stay healthy and put on a good show, same goes for the rest.

didnt know malcolm stewart was racing. wasnt really paying close attention to the 250 race...where was he?
450 this year is real exciting. if the top 5 (Stewart, RV, Dungy, Canard, Reed) all get a good start, thats gonna be some sick head to head racing
also, any word what happened to Grant? did he break his wrist? i didnt see the crash, but i heard it in the background RC saying something about broken wrist.

Welcome to supercross. Most years it's the same story for the 450 class. There are two or three fast riders way above everybody and then a couple of them get hurt and who ever is left standing out of that group wins.
It just doesn't seem like Reed, Dungey, or Grant have the same speed as RV and James. Plus it looked like James was just cruising when RV was behind him, didn't make any mistakes and he still lapped up to 8th or 9th.
Bummed about no more live coverage till Atlanta or Daytona.
Surprised that no one has said anything about Eli Tomac winning the Lites class this weekend. It was great to see him win his first Supercoss. Here is a little article with some quotes.
AMA has nothing to do with it's success, and in fact, the sport of SX as we know it was nearly wiped off the face of the earth if Monster had not come in and saved it.
So, lets wish Monster can start a series, a series with more than friggin 6 events! (really, we determine the best rider in the world from 6 events??)
Sorry have to say Motocross is better, although I won't argue SX is second best. Just the same ole like BMX turn jumps, turn jumps, turn whoops etc.
Motocross has much more passing and side by side pinned action! More elements such as downhill gnar, all different type jumps and turns. I know you prob. weren't arguing against Motocross... Just saying my opinion. Although I will be at the ATL race in person all day half drunk and rambling to the pros in the pits about how Downhill mtb is even cooler haha we just don't have Monster as a sponsor! Sobe needs to bring back their sponsorship to mtb for Supercross dual slalom - held on college campuses around the country with free beer! Now that would rock!
