Per tradition, last nights predicted 10" of snow barely made for 2". Micro dog was having none of the 6 degree temp and noped hard at morning walk. Guess I better find her a blanket/sweater of some sort.

Here. Drank a little too much last night and feel a little yucky this morning. I wish Corona was over so every cough didn't mean my subsequent death and cremation.

In lighter news, I think I figured out the right shock length for my bike, just need to choose a shock.

Hannah is staying home sick today. Wifey and I both have full schedules, which is never a good thing with sick kids, but SNOW DAY! Haley's getting paid to babysit Hannah today.

wet and freezy here today. I walk with the kids to school and bike back. It's hovering around the freezing mark now, with rain and sleet. That shit sure hurts your face while biking. Must remember to bring glasses next time.

Mornin!

Managed to draw a tag to hunt at the Reservation down the street that desires population control for their whitetail deer, so thats neato.

Contemplating giving my suspension an overhaul. Anyone have experience with the Vorsprung Luftkappe, MRP ramp control, or both? This is for a Fox 34 with the FIT damper.

It's where they complain that if they'd only put their snow tires on last week it wouldn't have snowed until Thanksgiving.

Coffee. Attempting to be productive. Attempting to keep kids on track. Chickens are super squawk-y this morning but I'm too lazy to go see why.

10 Freedoms and actually quite slippery on the drive in to work! Time to get the Land Cruiser and minivan swapped over to their Nokians posthaste.

I picked the Land Cruiser this morning, it still wearing its non-winter BFG AT shoes. Said tires are noticeably worse than Nokians. Aimed for a small fishtail coming out of my alley and ended up with a big ol' one, which was adequately entertaining for the audience of me.

Whatcha got there, Johnny Mountain Biker!! I rolled my lazy ass out of bed early this morning and banged out a 1:34:57 half marathon before work (7:15/mile pace). Felt good! This is part 2 of a 4 race series and I had until tomorrow to get this done, so I am happy to have crammed it in. I was too damn tired over the weekend to do it. So with 2 races done, I have a five minute overall lead for first place. I need to hold it!! Assuming I don't tank either of the last two races, my lead should only get bigger.

Driving around yesterday in the Subie in winter shoes vs. everyone else was... dodgy. Saw 2 SUVs and a BMW full spin. One Nissan Rouge hit a curb sideways trying to make a left turn and fold their passenger wheels under. And a lot of cars just sitting and spinning their fronts at stoplights.
