Cool! We were planning on camping and xc riding in Davis, WV that weekend. I might have to ditch the xc ride and head over to Wisp for a day of DH instead!

Hell
are you participating in the collegiate race?

there's a flyer for that at:

http://wvucycling.com/

from the looks of the flyer, they might run a different course this year for 'A'.

The couple years I went, '02-05, the race course was not that tough, pretty fun. The DH is best done on a 5-6" fully, since there are some pedaling sections. It's a fun course. Not much elevation.

The DS course this year is OK (IMO), some whoops, couple double/triples, berms. Not that interesting but still fun

There's couple other fun trails there, maybe a handful.

I emailed the Wisp people, this is what they replied.

"
The mountain is still open to the public to ride this weekend even with the collegiate event going on, the public can not race in the event that is
going. Otherwise should be a good last weekend of the season, Sat sunny high 49, low 31, Sunday high 50, low 31.
