I would like to go home and sleep in my own bed. VRBO we've been in for 10 days is pants. And not the good kind.
Three hour meeting this morning to "Meet this year's audit team!" LMFAO, yeah I'll be not showing up for that one.
Feels good to use the right hand again. Thumb is pretty stiff though, can't bend it all the way. Though I can touch halfway down my pinky finger, which is better than yesterday when the nurse took the cast off.
Its ride night and like an idiot, I am packing the bike. Might ride casually in the snow and see whats what. I think it'll be fine with the splint on, if I can get a glove over it. And if the part between the thumb and index finger doesn't jab my flesh.
But for now, work and coffee. Maybe some metamucil, for reasons.

Well, insurance is paid at the first of every month, so he will probably be here till the 30th.

have been sick for a few days, thanks kids. took off Mon & Tues, back to work today. fuck this place so hard.

snowing today. since I don't have a winterized commuter bike anymore, I opted to WFH. Kinda sucks, I like riding in these sorts of conditions... it's slow and quiet and peaceful.
buddies are talking about doing a fat bike ride tomorrow. this means I have to install the new cartridge in my blown dropper post and put pedals on the fat bike. can't say I'm enthusiastic about riding the fatty again...

Morning Monkeys.
WFH day because I went in yesterday (for tacos). My cat got her lion cut on Friday, so I'm keeping her in the house for a few weeks. She's very much an outside cat and is going stir crazy. The wife is happy I am home because Monday will hang out with me in my office. Otherwise she is wandering around upstairs crying. Not sure we will make it a few weeks. She's pretty damn loud.

She was supposed to be done 3 months ago, but her groomer got testicular cancer. We didn't find out until last week.
The fatty was ridden. And contrary to @slyfink disparaging remarks, I had fun.
But now the Mastodon seems to be sucking down hard. Wrists are not in a happy place.
