i know, i know... at least it'll be the last week of classes, and that friday is my birthday.

* French Dept. today announced that all french students are required to take a placement exam (new & hard...yea). i'm 3rd semester french...why do i need to take a god damn placement exam?

I'm glad I'm giving the exams now rather than taking them. My kids have their final dec. 16th. It's a common exam (the same for all sections) so I don't even have to write it or grade it.

Next week is lab final week during which we still have lecture classes, the final week is just plain finals week.

12 exams in 10 days...sucks....period. At least I'm sitting in good standing in all of them, so I need about....60s to maintain a solid B.

i've been at my job for over a year and a half, and its pretty much the same one i'll be doing fulltime (just with a real title instead of intern and alot more $$$) and i have little doubt that i'll have less stress after graduation.

so the presentation was yesterday, and that was my biggest hurdle. i was all ready and prepared. the first girl to go did the same subject as me. for some reason, i felt the need to tweak my presentation so as to not debunk her observations in front of the class. the end of my presentation stirred up some emotions, which was amusing. discussing went on for about 10mins after i stopped presenting. when the prof stopped us ('cause of time constraints), someone said "that was a great presentation" which no one else had said for the 13 prior presentations.

That's not too bad. Look at it like this, a lot of people have a school schedule like that, and they have to fit in 40 hours of work. If ALL you have to worry about is school, you're VERY lucky! Not to be mean, but most of us have/had to work while in school...
