I actually have come to rely on this phenomenon to give the insides of my Etnies that cool glossy glow that drives my lady crazy...talkin bout good lovin yawl!
Mine are four years old and are only just starting so scuff.It's more the grey annodising on the edges not the XTR logo.People can still see I'm loaded enough to afford XTR on my d/h rig (NOT!!!!!)
The crank's integrity will not be affected by logo wear. Its just like polishing your shoes, dosent hurt anything, unless they werent meant to be polished (so is suede like XTR??)
stupid me...I was distracted by Luc's pic... Anyways, just installed my newly revived (heli-coiled) XTR DH (165mm) on a new Dh frame and it seems to be working a-ok.
