I don't give a shit about the chimney anymore.sleeve it and install an insert, problem solved.
I mean, I’m guessing one of the reasons the ride was difficult is because they were so high.man you snookered me good here
I need to ride in the hills for sure. Got to do something about my rear shock though. Cane Creek wants $170 to service it. Grumble, grumble…Oh, and who all lives in North Carolina? @jstuhlman @AngryMetalsmith @Dirtrider and who else? I’ll be there in less than two weeks, already have plans in the works with @jstuhlman but wanna meet some other Monkies as well.
I should probably go back and read my old thread from last year…

I was contemplating a lunch ride today - the weather is glorious. but had a call at 1. organizer of call cancelled it at 12:20, but I missed my window anyways. kinda bitter.I sure would love to go ride my bike. Work less, ride more.

I’m just a cheap bastard that really doesn’t like to pay others to work on my bike. The fork needs an overhaul, which I can do and the KS seatpost needs a new cartridge as well. Moar monies…Sounds about right to me too @AngryMetalsmith
You know it.He sounds cheaper than me and I just gave him $$$.

"I'm not a goal-oriented person."Seems someone in corporate got wise to the fact that no one around here has gotten an "annual review" in years. Guess what is in everyone's mail boxes.

The corporate version of one, to be sure.a big Cleveland steamer?
is this related to the takeover you mentioned the other day?The corporate version of one, to be sure.
No. Coincidence most likely. What happens on the ramp has no bearing on what goes on in the hangar.is this related to the takeover you mentioned the other day?
Vote not early, vote not often. So, barricades are going up and signs are out warning that my route to work will be closed tomorrow due to the Republican debate at the Reagan Library. Would it be too much to ask them to argue about who’s not going to be president in a location that won’t inconvenience me?
Wasn’t planning on voting for any of them, but now I’m going to double not vote for them
have you thought about running for office..."I'm not a goal-oriented person."
I have had some good days riding there. At Whispering Pines Campground, Douthat. A long driving day.

CCC trails, not very techy but still fun. Good leaf surfing in the fall if you don't mind riding exposed off camber trails you can't see.likewise. big flow-y trail system, no? sad i'll be up in maine this weekend when @johnbryanpeters makes it down this way. feel like @AngryMetalsmith should take him on the popular 21 jumps/revised schoolhouse loop and then feed him at las salsas in my absence...

Ad Age on Instagram: "Apple just released its snazzy new iPhone 15, but @google says it’s hardly better than a 1980s-era pager—when it comes to its texting technology, which continues to have compatibility problems with Google’s Android devices. Google rolled out a spot called “Meet iPager,” created by @wearedavid.mia, which is a spoof of Apple advertising—in particular, the iPhone videos full of beauty shots that Apple famously uses when it rolls out a new device. But it’s thick with irony, as the fictional product on display represents decades-old tech—much as Apple’s SMS texting protocol does, according to Google, which wants Apple to switch to RCS. The campaign, which uses online videos, out-of-home and social media, uses phrases like “What year is this?” and “Time for SMS to exit the chat.” In addition, 3D-printed mockups of the iPager device will be sent to influencers. This is the latest salvo in an Android campaign themed #GetTheMessage, which launched in 2022. Read more about the campaign at the link in our bio #creativity #marketing #advertising #strategy"
