I now have my dream bike in my factory Sunday. I don't know if it because the season is over but I am loosing interest in equipment because after 10 years of riding finally have the bike I have always wanted. My plans for next year is limited to UST or no UST rims - boring. Come on Iron Horse bring on the carbon Sunday or something.

Lets start with a 2007 Morewood Izumu frame
Add a Cane Creek double-barrel with a ti spring.
Then, lets throw on a 2007 boxxer wc, 888sl, or 40rc2, depending on my mood.
Why not add middleburn cranks with a gumut chainguide?
Then of course Sram x.0 short cage r. derailluer and x.0 shifter.
Road cassette, hollowpin chain.
Then some red I-9 wheels on Mavic 823 rims
How about some thomson goodies? Ok: Stem, seatpost, check!
Odi rouge lock-on grips.
Maxxix highroller or minion tires.

Thats about it.

Haha, thanks mate.

I just started a new company (called Rota) thats soon the be the offical importer/distributer of Sunn bikes in australia. I have the Morewood for the moment but once everythings finalised and Sunn hits our shores then ill be packing a whole new stable of bikes...

I cant wait, these bikes are going to be off the hook!

What are you riding this season, Commencal?

i was offered a spot on the Jr Team. But I turned it down.

As of now, I really have no clue. Its looking like a 303, m3, or a Morewood. I would LOVE a Sunn though, those bikes look amazing. Thats sick you're doing something with them, I envy you.

Thanks mate, im pretty excited about it!

Thatd be pretty neat if you could get your hands on a 303. Im yet to spend anytime on one but i think its fair enough to assume there pretty dialed.

How come you turned down Commencal?

Pricing. The deals on parts were where they needed to be but the frame and/or completes were just too much cash, due to the rediculously high MSRP. It's dissapointing since they are such dope bikes but what are you gunna do, I have much cheaper options out there.

303 is probubly ideal, However I'm not sure it will happen due to the fact that the team manager is trying to talk Yeti down to a rediculously low price for a 303, which im all in for but it will most likely not happen seeing as most people pay an arm and a leg for one at cost.

Down in the G-Spot
I'd have two.

PDC Racing Eight2Five frame for DH

Fox 40 RC2
Cane Creek Double Barrel rear shock w/ Titanium spring
Avid Codes w/ Goodridge hoses
Industry Nine wheels w/ DT Swiss rims
Full SRAM X.O/X.9 drivetrain
Truvativ Holzfeller OCT cranks
Thomson seatpost
FSA Bars
FSA headset
E.13 Lg-1 or SRS Guide
ODI Rogue Lock-On Grips
Azonic Pooky Pedals
Kenda Kinetics DH tires

And an Iron Horse 6Point8 for everything else. Would switch out the DHX Air rear shock for a Double Barrel w/ Ti spring or a Roco TST-R w/ Ti spring, add Goodridge hoses to the brakes, and probably take off the front derailleur in favor for a E.13 STS Guide.

Nothings changed and its still my current one ( for over a year id only changed one tire and bb, pads and some oil ). Oh and id changed the frame too for newer one with some better geometry for my fork, a little bit longer and with new barrels and shock plates. Now they should last forever!

Many of u will find such tank useless, but riding such bike when u got used to it can really bring a lot of fun ( and thats what biking is all about for me :) )

What the hell kind of gear ratio is that for a SS? You would have to run a 1-piece driver, which means BMX chain. Other than that I agree.

it's the same thing as a 32:18 ratio. but since the chainring and cog are so small, they will wear much quicker.

I just have no idea why you would want a 1-piece driver wear out fast gear ratio on an XC bike.

You can only get a 9t cog in a 1-piece driver format.

Whatever, now I feel like a dick. It really doesn't matter.
