rocky, rooty, or just dirt?Spent the morning making a bench cut in Bristol.
NOTHING can be that important.I need to apologize to everyone for taking so long to check in here today. I try not to let that happen, but it's just that I've had several high priority items at work that I needed to get done.
That's my plan....Drop it off in person. There's something inherently satisfying to handing a resignation letter to the boss...![]()
I even scheduled a meeting for my boss to hand it over. It was satisfying...That's my plan....
It's a long story that dates back to March. Short version, I accidentally (when I questioned the superintendent, he told me I wasn't supposed to find out) found out that I was being involuntarily transferred into a position I don't want (elementary music) to "throw a bone" to the guy they hired who isn't comfortable teaching that and doesn't want to (parents have complained about him playing movies rather than teaching) because I am so good at it. 100 Students, staff and parents went to the BOE meeting to fight the transfer, pissed off the Superintendent and he's been treating me like crap since and refuses to change it so I am quitting.did i miss the story as to why you're resigning?
I didn't schedule a meeting...I just plan on handing it to the secretary and walking out. I really don't want to waste my time with him. (he doesn't even believe I will really resign).I even scheduled a meeting for my boss to hand it over. It was satisfying...

Now that would be a sight (in the elementary school building no less -- that's where his office is). I didn't even address my resignation to him...I addressed it to the BOE. He'll accidentally find out I'm sure!no, you really should give it directly to him.
bonus points if you're drinking a beer when you do it.
more bonus points if you're wearing a Hawaiian shirt and drinking rum out of a coconut
LOL! I should! just a couple of weeks ago he was bragging to one of the union reps that he knew I wouldn't resign (because I haven't given him notice yet).oh and take a picture of the look on his face when you hand him your resignation. frame that shit!

in other news, rainbow roll and a porter for lunch. an unlikely combination, but i'm making it work.
Originally I was going to hand him my resignation on the first day of school, but I do want to work again locally and I am pretty sure that would be frowned upon. I am also contractually/legally bound to give 30 days notice. I plan on calling in sick for the 2 staff development days and tomorrow marks 30 days until the first day of school. I'll talk to his secretary tonight and see if he's in tomorrow....I'd love to interrupt a meeting to hand it to him.you are missing a golden opportunity to capitalize on petty revenge. that would be Potassiun and Nitrogen
Humans use Sodium, Potassioum and Calcium
Please let us know when this task has been completed. We don't like when these stories are not followed up on, like when people talk about their bikes being stolen and then located and never tell us what happens after that. Good luck, Treesaw!Originally I was going to hand him my resignation on the first day of school, but I do want to work again locally and I am pretty sure that would be frowned upon. Also, I've been having a bitch of a time trying to find old 9spd SRAM shifters. Anyone have any advice?
