I need to apologize to everyone for taking so long to check in here today. I try not to let that happen, but it's just that I've had several high priority items at work that I needed to get done. I am finally able to eat some lunch and checked into the interwebs. Speaking of lunch, something is brewing in my intestines and I'm going to have a glorious bathroom trip in the near future. Must be the eggplant.

I am a god damn idiot. I went on a ride on sunday and my ass/sit bones is still sore (and is going to be for atleast a couple more days).

I even scheduled a meeting for my boss to hand it over. It was satisfying...
It's a long story that dates back to March. Short version, I accidentally (when I questioned the superintendent, he told me I wasn't supposed to find out) found out that I was being involuntarily transferred into a position I don't want (elementary music) to "throw a bone" to the guy they hired who isn't comfortable teaching that and doesn't want to (parents have complained about him playing movies rather than teaching) because I am so good at it. 100 Students, staff and parents went to the BOE meeting to fight the transfer, pissed off the Superintendent and he's been treating me like crap since and refuses to change it so I am quitting.
I didn't schedule a meeting...I just plan on handing it to the secretary and walking out. I really don't want to waste my time with him. (he doesn't even believe I will really resign).

Now that would be a sight (in the elementary school building no less -- that's where his office is). I didn't even address my resignation to him...I addressed it to the BOE. He'll accidentally find out I'm sure!
LOL! I should! just a couple of weeks ago he was bragging to one of the union reps that he knew I wouldn't resign (because I haven't given him notice yet).

Originally I was going to hand him my resignation on the first day of school, but I do want to work again locally and I am pretty sure that would be frowned upon. I am also contractually/legally bound to give 30 days notice. I plan on calling in sick for the 2 staff development days and tomorrow marks 30 days until the first day of school. I'll talk to his secretary tonight and see if he's in tomorrow....I'd love to interrupt a meeting to hand it to him.

ebay appears to have a slew of SRAM 9 speed stuff, especially if you are into gripshift.
