Got some snow last night and in the am, made for a successful hunt. Tagged a really nice 4x4 whitetail. Easy drag to the truck this time, I was at about 7400 foot level, truck was just over half a mile away at the 5900 foot level. Deer literally slid over halfway on a single push
Nothing like taking a nice hot shower and eating a bowl of chicken soup after a 26 mile bike ride in the dark and its a balmy 44* out. Saw a really cool fireball while i was riding on Wente avenue looking in the direction of Los Vaqueros Reservoir NE of Livermore. It started at about 45* above the horizon and at about 30* it broke into multiple pieces that I tracked until they diasapeared behind the hills
