I have bought, fully decked out and then sold one bmw and bought and built another, newer bmw all during the lifetime of this thread. Wonder what my next bmw will look like and what the page count will be by then??
i just picked the grape ape up from a kid in london, i think it missed New York...
it is just about done, just needs cleaning up, a new caliper half for the hope to put it on the 888, and some extras. great bike and a great deal. with DHS,theamish and another floating around rochester, it didn't take long to convince me about them.

Thanks SB, ive been cleaning off all the old stickers and that thick, clear 3M protective tape i put all over the frame when it was new. I still have alot of the adhesive residue to get off. I'll throw on some new bmw stickers and bearings in the floater and atleast one of the links. My bike gets no changes over the winter.
