I retired the Kona Roast and got a new 04 Cowan. Different geometry than the 03 out of bounds hardtail line for Kona, and the really great thing about this frame is the dropouts. Sliding dropouts to tension for single speed, the disc brake mount is attached so there's no screwing with your discs when you change dropout position, and there's a dropout for single speed and an extra one for derailleur if so desired. A through-axle set of dropouts is also available from Kona. Oh yeah, if you want to mount a gyro, well, check out the head tube. Cool huh? I gotta drop the fork to 4" and then this thing will be just right. Still, even at 5", this thing feels amazing in the air.
