Something I saw earlier... dunno how accurate all the info in it is, but one thing that stuck out to me was that some unspecified number of years ago, Stan Lee had a meeting with Disney's board of directors to pitch a collaboration between his content (Marvel) and Disney. Back then, they thought he was crazy apparently. I'm guessing this meeting took place prior to the release of the first Spiderman and X-men movies.
Speaking of comic book movies, what's not been done yet?
Death of Superman The Mighty Thor X-Factor (barf!)
New Mutants - on the coat tails of the Twilight series
Gen-X
Doctor Strange
The Thing
She-Hulk
New Teen Titans Secret Wars
Silver Surfer
Evil Ernie
Sandman MAX
Thundercats
Robotech
I knew about Iron Man 2, but not 3 and I knew the Avengers and Captain America movies. Man, I loved Captain America as a kid b/c he just made you feel good about yourself...but that has got to be one lame movie! Oooooh...the Red Skull...runnnnnnnnnn!
Edit: I guess if you can get 3 movies out of a character as cheeseball as The Punisher and only 1 of the 3 be decent, Captain America can get a movie deal.
