bad a$$ is right, hes old, he has a 2 week old baby in the house, a pinned little 3 year old, he's tall as f@ck, hes drunk....he is bad a@@
and he did it on a 10 speed!
that sort of track has always suited Peaty (Les Gets, Val de Sol, Snoqualmie . . . anything steep and tech). The guys on the podium were all among the last 6 down the hill so same conditions for all. Peaty just killed it this weekend; convincing win in qualies and again in finals.Congrats to him indeed.
BTW. From the ppl available were the conditions really worsening (ie. it was more slippery or did it just rain a bit more?) Also did he run different tires than other riders? I'm very curious how the hell it happened as winning with all the tech guys on a track that theoreticly wouldn't suit him is trully mindblowing.
Looked like he was on his usual worlds pace (which is out of his mind)...but he stayed up.that sort of track has always suited Peaty (Les Gets, Val de Sol, Snoqualmie . . . anything steep and tech). Did anyone else get the impression he was hanging it out a bit more than he has been the past few years, looked like he was truly going for the win rather than a podium.
I love Peaty but thew all my stay in the UK (I know it's not a uk brand but it's everywhere there) I could not force myself to drink that piss and was forced to dring Fosters insteadstella for life
For some reason the most shops arond where I stayed carried Stella, Fosters and Zywiec (which shares it's name with another polish brand of WATER for a ****ing reason...). It's good that around here we have all the German and Czech beers we want[cough]girls drink[/cough]
yeah i got that impression, even in interviews over the last season or two i got the impression that he was just happy enough to be still be racing and getting podiums.. today was the steve peat of old, battering down the course.. and why not? he has nothing to prove and nothing to lose.that sort of track has always suited Peaty (Les Gets, Val de Sol, Snoqualmie . . . anything steep and tech). The guys on the podium were all among the last 6 down the hill so same conditions for all. Peaty just killed it this weekend; convincing win in qualies and again in finals.

schoolboy error there guinness is where its atwas forced to dring Fosters instead
Until someone gets 11 World Champs then the argument is sorta I dont know. But there has not been 10 years of dominance like Nico had period. At age 16 his times would of had him in 1st. Peat is awesome and was racing with Nico but beat him rarely.I think it's hard to argue against him being the greatest ever. Sure Nico was amazing but was he just ahead of his time in terms of preperation and technology ? Also where was Nico in those races last year ? I know he's had a big layoff but he never stopped riding and he simply wasn't competitive. Peaty won World Cups back when Nico was racing and he's beating the likes of Hill, Gee and Greg NOW.
Beer or no beer, a phenomenal athelete.
when nico raced champery last year, in qualification he was fifth and he passed four or five guys that were in his way on the track.I think it's hard to argue against him being the greatest ever. don't forget that he is usually leading the charge at the after party as wellPeat is gravity racings GOAT...
he races 4x, slalom, rides down volcanos with Hans Rey, wins with wife and kids, does it for the fans, still can smile and walk around pits with a retarded busted ankle, is a good friend, can weld copper plumbing, he is just the bees knees.
take That Backi Love Peaty But Thew All My Stay In The Uk (i Know It's Not A Uk Brand But It's Everywhere There) I Could Not Force Myself To Drink That Piss And Was Forced To Dring Fosters Instead
