Am I the only one who keeps seeing the name "Jill Kelley" and being deeply disappointed when I realize it's not the ATM Jill Kelly? <sigh>
No, no you are not.

http://www.tmz.com/2012/11/18/jill-kelly-porn-star-general-petraeus-sex-scandal-vivid-job-offer/

TMZ obtained a letter from Vivid head honcho Steven Hirsch addressed to Kelly -- the former star of "WMB: Weapons of Masturbation" ... not Jill Kelley, the whistle blower in General Petraeus' sex scandal.

In the letter Hirsch offers Kelly a sweet deal (thanks to her name's recent exposure) ... to host a military-themed porn marathon which will air next January on VividTV -- and will feature 10 pornos from the Vivid vault.

Jeebus. That's almost as bad as the insurance company of the bimbo who hit me trying to talk to get a statement from me while I was still in a coma. Shameless.
You're lucky you didn't get gang raped by a football team. Stop complaining.

("Yeah, he was in a coma, but he didn't say no, and look at the way he was dressed in the skimpy gown. He was asking for it.")

The problem with lies is eventually they unravel.
Tomorrow, rocks will be turned over and we will finally discover whats been hidden.
Who denied the reinforcements to board the c130?
Why did hillary prevent the anti- terrorists team of the state dept from reporting?
When did bho learn about the 9/11 attack, what did bho order, and when did bho go back to bed?

According to the pilot flying the drone over the attack, he was never questioned per his observations.
Where is the footage?

Oh nevermind, this was months ago, th youtube video caused a riot and the producer is locked up.
Carry on!

Huh, the actual transcript sounded *nothing* like jrock's post... I'm guessing I don't have my right-wing-bullsh!t-filter calibrated correctly.

Btw, if the Republicans had raised valid questions from the start instead of focusing on the "OMFG, why did he say Youtube instead of terrorist!!!!!!!!!!!!?" aspect, we'd probably be farther along in finding out what actually happened.

However, the fact that some Patriots® were far more interested in criticizing the State Department while people were getting killed kind of ruins their credibility to ask meaningful questions.

Front Range, dude...
Throwing bodies into a situation that we dont have strong intell on is a recipe for disaster, another Mogadishu in the making if you will. Half the strength of Special Operators is information superiority, and the explotation of same. IMHO, commanders made a safe and sane decision NOT to commit forces into a tactical situation that was widely unknown and rapidly evolving...only would have made for more casualities on both sides.

Still wondering wher ethe Faux Noos outrage is over all the embassy and counsulate attacks when we had a GoP (mis)administration...

There are things I'd like to be able to do in my job. I'd love to have unlimited resources. To a large extent though, I have to do what I can and what I have resources for. That means I can't be everywhere at once or do everything at once or stop every bad thing. I have to take the information and resources and allocate them where I think they are best utilized. If something "happens" on my watch, I'm responsible, but it doesn't mean there's an expectation that I could have "stopped it". Sure, theoretically I could have, but realistically, no. This can be easily twisted around though to mean we "let things happen", "don't react to intel", etc. We have to continually do things better, but also not have unrealistic expectations. Unrealistic expectations result in having more liberties and freedom taken away from everyone else.

I don't get the fury being unleashed about Susan Rice's statements. The video I've watched, she qualifies her statements twice: once saying that an FBI investigation is going on and the results will be what can tell what really happened, and prefacing her comments with "to the best of our knowledge based on what we can tell right now (or somesuch)" that a group of militants took advantage of a protest based on the youtube vid to attack the consulate.

People make it sound like she flat out denied anything else could have happened...I had to go back and re-watch the footage to make sure I wasn't smoking crack, because I recalled statements that sounded downright devoid of commitment to any particular narrative.

But no State Dept security officer I know has an emergency plan which involves the president spontaneously deciding to allocate military assets to start bombarding an area with standoff weapons. Nor were the decisions made about security on the ground made by Administration officials...professional bureaucrats do that within the budget, laws, and regulations they're given. And the Ambassador certainly knew the security situation and had not recommended a shut-down of the consulate and traveled there of his own volition...if he'd have suspected the situation to be totally untenable it would have been his call to vacate the facility. He didn't. Ultimate authority in-country rests with him, not even with the security officers.

Where I think there might be room for legitimate anger at a white-house level policy is the ready establishment of a consulate in a fairly non-permissive environment with questionable host-government support, which could be seen as an attempt to validate the POTUS's Libya policy in the face of grave risk.
This guy pretty much said it all.

Big day, especially for those of us whom have family active within spec op community, and of course for friends, family, colleagues of the four American's we lost.
Unfortunately the lawyers for the whistleblower still have not been granted security clearances on this matter.

No right winger here. Both parties have been ruined by progressives/statists/rove puppets etc.
Just a fact seeker with questions, praying for valid answers so our brothers and sisters dont end up without backup again!
