Good call -BB-, I was thinking Stella Blue.

"All the years combine
they melt into a dream
A broken angel sings
from a guitar
In the end there's just a song
comes crying like the wind
through all the broken dreams
and vanished years

Stella Blue

Black Peter OR... Standing on the Moon.

I always get goosebumps when listening to that.
Especially since 95.

Slayer-Disciple
System of a Down-Chop Suey
Too-Eulogyl
Ween-Waving my Dick in the Wind
Clutch-Careful With That Mic
Pantera-Message in Blood
NIN-Heresy
Drowning Pool-Sinner
Suicidal Tendencies-Send Me Your Money
Rob Zombie-Living Dead Girl

I think any of those songs would be pretty cool to hear at a funeral.

Word. :(

Or....The Horse...

"It's time I sling the baskets off this overburdened horse
Sink my toes into the ground and set a different course
Cause if I were here and you were there
I'd meet you in between
And not until my dying day, confess what I have seen."

I don't want to be planted either. Play them as you scatter my ashes on the inside of the carousel at Nurburgring.

I also woudn't mind if they shot some rifles during my burial.
You forgot Red White and Blue. Maybe the best "I'm white trash, but i don't care, what's up now" song ever.

"my hair is turning white, my necks always been red, my collar's still blue"

to you donors they also take your bones - my friend was in a car wreck and all that they could get were his eyes and his leg bones but at least he was able to help someone after he passed on.
anyway to those donating to science, they often will chop you up and send various parts to different places. for example, heads often go to people getting extra training in plastic surgery. once you are dead you become the property of whomever buys the cadaver. you might even wind up on a table at a school for morticians or in the cadaver lab at a medical school
i want a new orleans funeral - all the brass and lots of drinks. my body's going to science anyway so at least my friends and family can have fun!

Sabbath - Electric Funeral

I want to be dried and hollowed out by a taxidermist, then filled with $1 coins and candy, and hung up as a pinata at my wake.

A friend of mine went to med. school and got our old geography teacher's corpse to cut up. He died 2 years before that, when we were in highschool, so I guess they kept him on ice just for her ;-) She was excused....

If i have a funeral I say have it go all traditional with all that boring music and then halfway through randomly play "Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin at full blast. But other than that i would rather be used as one of those big rocks or logs that you pile up under the dirt so your dirt jumps are stronger. Or use my bones as supports for a ladder drop or something. Then ill have an excuse to drink milk.
