For your trasmition system, GS cage is correct, with 11/46 also, provided you have a single front chainring
The medium cage have 39T (RD-8000 system) of capacity, and your crank is single 32-32=0 46-11=35T perfect with medium cage.
I'd stay away from the older 10sp XT RDs because of the location of the cage pivot that makes them suboptimal for big range cassettes. You can get a RADr cage for $50 to fix that, or the m8000 that offset the pivot like the RADr cage or like SRAM RDs.
That's the chain wrap capacity (i.e. the difference between the min and max number of total teeth between the front and rear) not the max sprocket size.
