yeah I'm thinking of upgrading the wheels and maybe get those hubs build up on 819's or something like that. But the thing is, which that wheelset, it's pretty much bomb proof you know! hummm....

521s are amazing rims. I kinda wanna go tubeless though on my heckler with the "cross mtn rims" but thing is i still like to bomb downhill with it and its kinda my FR bike in a sense since my bighit has 1 ring and i don't climb it at all.

Wow, that is a pretty SWEET ride! I've been considering a Maverick fork for my Reign, but I will probably end up with a Pike Air.
Love the look of that ride though man...

I weighed the Sugar and it comes in at 32.5LBS with the lights (no battery) and fender, not really as bad as I thought. I would call it my mountain trail bike because was not built for speed and does better with a little gravity assist.

My XC bike is a Giant XTC hardtail with straight XT running gear, Thompson post & stem, 517 rims, 959 pedals and a SID Race fork. It weighs exactly 24 LBS.

I've got an Intense Spider. Built up weighing 23.4 pounds(on three DIFFERENT scales)for pure XC racing. Were talkin' SID world cup fork, American Classic wheels with Sapim CX Ray bladed spokes, Hayes Mag Plus disk brakes, and triple ti egg beaters. You can pretty much guess what else there is, considering the weight, or lack-there-of. Oh yeah, NO SHIMANO. none. yee haw!

This will be my xc/trail bike for year... adjustable from 3-5" front and rear so it should serve all my purposes. Too bad the fork was puking oil straight out of the box.

If that had the horst link still it would be amazing and a value priced Titus Motolite Clone - just the same it's a sweet looking ride you've got there! :thumb:

Wow Donnie that thing is super nice! What are your impressions of it so far? I went for a good ride on mine yesterday and it felt great. Very efficient! What fork do you have on it now, and how do you like the 5th element air. I have a Fox Float AVA and I'm wondering how the two shocks compare in terms of ride quality.

Again, great looking Hollowpoint!

I like the 5th air is really easy to set up and rides smooth...feels more like a coil shock after the first 1/2 " of travel. The fork is an '05 All mountian air....so nice and plush....the spinergy wheelset is so light I felt a big difference in acceleration right away....D

Is that All Mountain Air the SL model? 150-130mm of travel? Does it make the front end feel too raked out? Doesn't seem to look like it does. How do you have it set up while out on the trail? Do you primarily ride it in the 130mm travel setting and then throw it into 150mm mode for descents?

it's 130mm of travel...head angle is perfect for trailriding....I have it set up right in the middle there are 5 setting forthe TST I use the middle unless I'm descending....D

Polished Intense Tracer, Vanilla RLC, Full XTR 965 (except XT cranks), 3.1 rims, Azonic carbon bar. Weight 26-27lbs maybe? Guess! The winner gets to buy it. Make me an offer if your interested (also have cheaper build kit).
