One vague day of rest before more work BS.

Great coffee this morning. Cleaning up from last night's short rib extravaganza to make a cake, then might be able to work in the garage a bit while the girls go do something social outside the house.

Hoping to finish ghetto-crafting the new clutch pushrod on the Matchless, which will work with my new oil seal, then maybe close up the primary. Not sure if I can get to the fork or not. Maybe at least address a mashed thread in the stanchion.

Up too early. Now I have to either fully wake up and nap later, or try to sleep in too late and feel like shit for wasting the morning.

I started exercising harder this week and now my metabolism is cranking and telling me I don’t have time to sleep. Wtf?! I’m even drinking half decaf espresso. So dumb. Like saying I only want to play with one boob, so keep the other one covered up.

Hour in a half at the gym, shoulder & leg day complete, stopped off at Starbucks for a cup of burnt coffee grounds. Later in the day I was Voluntold I'm helping painting a room at my father in laws house.

You father in law isn’t going to bootstrap himself without your labor. Get to it!

Well considering he survived a massive stroke 8 years ago and has almost no use of his left arm and is blind on that side too from the stroke and is lucky to be alive, I'm on it!
No one said bootstrapping would be easy, plus that sounds like family socialism pretty much

If you want to call family helping family as a part of socialism......... I guess you can. Well the positive side of that form socialism is its no expense out of my pocket, just a few hours of my time.
