Is the SX frame discontinued? It's not up there. It'd be rad to put the slalom geometry on the Enduro SL style chassis.

Here are some answers:

SX frame is still available...I added it to the photos from the 1st post

Big Hit is still available...I added them including the BigHIt Grom to the photos from the 1st post

FSR XC is still there...looks like the Pitch is between the FSR Stumpjumper (120mm) and the Enduro SL (150mm)

The Regular Enduro is not listed as an 08 model, but there are a ton of them left in all 07 trim levels.

Demo 7/8 Prices:
Demo 8 II = 6300
Demo 8 I = 4200
Demo 7 II = 5700
Demo 7 I = 4000

The SX Trail is Anodized orange and black...the pic looks red but the specs say orange.

The Pitch is basically a cheaper standardized Enduro SL - it has the same travel and same suspension linkage geometry.

This is all old news that cyclingnews.com posted two weeks ago...

cyclingnews said:
Pitch does without the Specialized-branded suspension bits in favor of custom-tuned rear shocks from X-Fusion and Fox along with specially-configured 140mm-travel Pike forks from Rock Shox. Rear travel remains at 150mm and frame geometry is fixed in the 'slack' position of the Enduro SL.

I, for one, would like to applaud Specialized.

It's important for blind, autistic children to feel like they have a place in society, and Specialized's bold move to employ them as graphic designers for their frames is a wonderful gesture. :clapping:

i took a closer look, i think the bighit has red blood cells as part of the paint scheme? if so, that's probably the worst idea i've ever heard. i'm glad to see they at least employed the orange and black paint with the SXT 2, but i was thinking it would be for the frame.

The next time you make a "your mom" joke, I'm ****ting down your throat. Now I will use the text color "LemonChiffon" to make a pointed reference to my emotional insecurity and desperate pleas for attention:

my mom died in a horrific microwave accident you dick

the big hit with a shorter rear shock is an amazing bike, a few of my buddies ride them and rip. almost got one instead of my demo 7 but the resale value of the 7 was far more than the bighit

Are you stupid?

There was nothing in that post that was derogatory to autistic kids. Please learn an ounce of reading comprehension, thanks.

Holy hyper-sensitivity. You're so blinded by political correctness that you can't even see how benign my comment was.

Would you expect a blind, autistic kid to be capable of pleasing aesthetic frame design? No. So where is the insult? I'm not laughing at an autistic person's inability to design well, which is outside of their control and is simply in the nature of their disease. I'm laughing at a fully capable and wealthy company who insists on making bizarre design decisions, as if it was outside of their control. I guess I insulted blind people too, eh?

Cant Climb; you'll forgive me if I am a little harsh with people who have no reading comprehension and attempt to insult me (or anyone else) over it. I am not disrespectful unless someone acts in a disrespectful or unreasonable manner.

I wish those prices were wrong too...seems like everything has gone up across the board..even the big hits went up a few hundred each...and we all know they have long since gotten their design money out of these...I hope they are wrong too...but from my sources they are not.

the BigHit Grom is $1600

anyone want to see any other bikes?

I think associating the color schemes of Specialized with the blind and the autistic is an insult to all handicapped people:

Or maybe Specialized is trying to create more blind people with this color scheme.

BTW, this one is called Negro:

I never thought you met to be derogatory but anyone dealing Autism personally could be a bit offended by your comment. People dealing with it personally are stressed which makes it a hypersensitive issue....

Don't want to make a big deal out of it but it irked me when i first read it that's all........

Back to bikes: Specialized line is sweet. :nerd:

Other than the black demo, I'm so glad I got all my bikes this year:)

Looks like they were designed by blind autistic kids with aids, glacoma, multiple sclerosis, who had their fingers cut off by an abusive alcoholic father married to an anorexic mother with body image problems who never took an interest in her child's education or general develpment.
