Sounds great - can't wait for more racing info after the great coverage from the worlds. Between family visiting from Europe, business expansion and crashing this helps compensate for lack of riding.

The 802
dropped Dave off at the airport at 3:30. barring delays and lost luggage he should be rolling into Maribor some time tomorrow afternoon. . . . he and 230 other pro men:shocked:

here are a few vids. of the course:

Interesting to see who else got injured at Ft. Bill but so far Minnaar, Gracia, and Vouilloz(scaphoid) are all sitting this one out. so much for the alien's much anticipated return to Maribor.

The 802
yo Fraser, Dave's flight to NY got delayed 4hrs out of burlington. he's missing his flight to germany tonight and will get on the next one at 4pm tomorrow. . . no idea when he'll get a flight to Austria after that. either way, he'll be a day late. international travel rules!!!!

he said you can check into the hotel though as you are listed as a guest and his cc info is all on file.

I raced for 3 weeks back to back on a broken Scaphoid a few years back. Massanutten, then Mt Snow, then Sugar. Merciless but possible. Had a screw put in 3 days afterwards.

BUT...scaphoid breaks come in degrees of SUCK..so his may have had a higher degree. :nope:

I love a greasy, nasty finals to throw the odds right out the window and make things as random as possible. :thumb:

Oh..and Fraser...isn't it bad form to sit in another guys lap while he's driving? I know you wanted to get a good pic, but seriously?

The course is fantastic, we walked it yesterday. If it rains, it will be a complete gong show as it's technical almost from top to bottom besides a few fast sections.

Yes Polish Pete.
No, Van Dine's other wrist.

I'm putting my money on Kovarik. It's time for his once a year win.

Granted, Barel hunting down Sam by only .6 at Worlds has got me believing he's back to monster status despite the injury.

Ironic to think we got a muddy, nasty course and Peat isn't automaticly the favorite. Used to, if it was wet, he was a 2 to 1 fav.

Nah. My brother and I put stickers all over the 2004 Durango DH course. We put one on the big rock drop and nedless to say the sticker came out in many magazines and photos  .

(Bring back Durango!! :nopity: )
hart, prater and i chalked the concrete @ park city
one year. that was fun. hart put slayer on the backside and in
everyones photo they got in the mail you could see it under
the rider as they came off.

Lee - tell Dave I wish him the best of luck! Kick ass, man!

...in that pic of Riffle - is he running a Comp32 up front and a 16 in back???

Can't really tell.
