HAHA, he has driven it before but he was skinny 11 years ago so it wasn't as funny. However he was as stupid so it was still kind of funny.

'76 blue Chevy Camaro. I was a sophomore in high school, and it was bought kinda sight unseen. We had a family friend that worked at a dealer, and he knew about this car, and brought it over for me. Loved it, kept it for 2 years, sold it, was without a car for about 6 months, then got a truck. Ok, so that's my first 2 vehicles, shoot me..........
I had an '88 as my third car - worked 2 summers framing houses and washing dishes to buy that clapped out beast. It was a blast for an 18 year old, turbo, adjustable suspension ... but mine had terrible cooling issues. The little sister killed it when I went to Knoxville for college.1986 Toyota Subra

1st car: 86 Dodge Aries - perfect car for a 16 year old.
2nd: 1980-something Mazda B series 4x4. A tree fell on it as a hurricane tracked its way up the bay. It was a crappy truck anyways.

My first car
2000 Ford Ranger. Completely bare bones, no power any thing, no AC, no cruise control, but im slowly adding to it. Put a stereo in it last weekend and I have a leveling kit to install and will be getting some 31 A/T's to replace the stock 29's. The bike in the bed is worth about the same as the truck.

My first car, 1971 BMW 2002.
It's so much fun. Totally a project car although I would drive it daily in fair weather, I prefer to bike commute though. I can always borrow my parents volvo 240 to go ride if I need it but a lot of my friends have trucks so getting places really isn't an issue.

I had one a few years ago. It had a ported and polished head, high compression pistons, headers, exhaust, dual side draft webers, H&R Springs, Bilstein shocks and struts, H&R sways, and 325 seats in it. THat thing rallied and was a blast to drive. Unfortunately i couldn't get it to run right all the time and i was out of money. I sold it to a friend. He had a tool that put the carbs in sync, and an electronic ignition. Runs awesome. I was bummed because it only cost $300 to get it running like a race car.
I would sell all my bicycle machines, gti and vr6 for a nice 2002.

. The engine was bad when I bought it and a few other things were discovered like the left front strut had been heated and straitened. Apparently it has been in an accident or two but the panels were replaced each time. The really good about it is the amount of rust, practically zero. I have torn out the whole interior and gone through the whole underside/engine bay. The only rust was a little on the inside of the door panels (fixed with a wire wheel and POR15), some where by the passengers feet due to leaking from the heater/ac (fixed same way) and one patch on the passengers fender. Unfortunately it is on a seam I can't get to w/o removing the panel and it has already produced a few visible bubbles so now all I can do is try to slow it.
I replaced the engine, long bad story, turns out the mechanic who built it and owned/operated a BMW shop in Gresham, Or was a total tool and didn't know what he was doing. Long story short, he told me it was a performance engine and it was, he didn't mention the compression was 10.5:1 or that the headgasket wouldn't be able to hold that for a long time. Head warped and the gasket blew between cylinders 1/2 and 2/3. It's nearly sorted now and the compression should be back down to around 9 with an extra thick SS headgasket. These cars just are just fvcking money pits, but they are so god damn fun to drive! Every time I get behind the wheel I can't help but get an ear to ear grin on my face.
Right now the interior has reupholstered Recaros from a 320is, nardi steering wheel, 4 point harnesses, new carpet, nice alpine receiver w/amp and a pair of 6x9 3 way infinity's. I've made a cut out for plywood door panel backs to replace the warped pressboard, I'm working on a new console that will look very similar but be vinyl wrapped and have a nice wood center along with a few extra gauges and a matching piece of wood for the rear shelf. I also purchased a rear seat out of a 635 I need to dye and drop in, then I'll convert back to standard 3 point belts(the recaros hold you pretty well).
Rest of the car. Bilsteins, H&R springs, Tii dist, Tii struts, larger disc brakes in the front, larger drums in the rear(I have a disc conversion I'll throw on soon), larger sway bars, and Rare Epsilon 13" 3pc rims (gonna get a set of 15" panasports eventually). Engine has 272 schrick, petronix, tii exhaust manifold, weber 38/38, high compression pistons, and the head is ported. Waiting to be installed is a 5spd and a 3.91LSD. I'm collecting parts to convert to EFI using megasquirt, tons of plans for this car including a turbo. It will be a sleeper for sure, should be pushing 210-230hp and running 0-60 in the low low 5's once it's done(not any time soon).

1987 Acura Legend L, 5 speed.
Drove it cross country 4 times.
One of the trips I blew a hydraulic line outside Oklahoma City and the clutch pedal would go all the way to the floor and stay there without disengaging. Drove it all the way to LA, back to back 16 hour days, stalling it out every time I had to stop, then starting in gear and syncroshifting. She got me there though.
