Astham inhalers to open lungs up? Is what you may be talking about. Seen some fast riders doing that about 8 years back.

It'll be interesting to see Gregory on flats. He already looks like a different rider hunched down and with his out.

That above pic is killer. There's something about Euro mountains.

Freecaster just brings you the commentary and sucks off UCI's feed. Eurosport live is also sucking off the same UCI produced feed. It is UCI's cameras, production, show, etc....
It is my understanding that south africa live coverage was a different breed due to the expense of getting all UCI's film production team there...the satellite issues, bla bla bla.

In a nutshell, you gotta cry to the UCI if you want more cameras on the hill, it is their show.....freecaster and eurosport just bring it to you.

Just like embrocation, camphor or mentholated cotton balls up the nose are part of many cyclists psychological arousal strategies before an event. It does nothing, but it gets dudes in the right mood to kill and maim for fun and profit.

Oh I know they're just getting the feed from UCI, but didn't freecaster announce that this year they would be using their own cameras in addition to the UCI's?

edit: found the press release. it says they will use their own cameras but it sounds like the plan is to 'enhance' the uci production with separate course previews, interviews, etc. not necessarily improve on the stuff that matter ie the actual race runs. too bad
