OMG OMG OMG OMG I didn't actually have to wait until tomorrow. I stayed up past my bedtime here on the west coast and saw the press release on Pinkbike. OMG.

Is that the team that was the SUNN team? It sorta seemed like they were switching mid-stream this year.

Those bikes were nice before they painted them butt ugly. The same happened to the sund they had. Horrible.

Polcster is a great rider and personality. One of the best guys I've dealt with out there. I hope he lands something in time for the season.

its almost a 6 minute course, but brosnan and graves are up almost 10 seconds on hill.

are there any other women who can compete on a world level from australia? might have something to do with it, we might see hannahs time being a little closer if atherton or mosely was racing.

I'm just really surprised to see that Hill is doing the whole Aussie series, big commitment for a guy that lives 2000km + away from the races. Contrary to popular opinion he is clearly motivated to win again after two seasons of injury. Graves is gonna be a major treat on certain world cup courses this year also. Why Ben Cory diesn;t try to go after some World cups again is beyond me.

Other then that, the "re-brand" of the UCI MTB World Cup should be coming soon, It'll be nice to have a fresh look to the series and not just the same old road-esque UCI look to it. Nice to see some changes coming in the sport and some real competition and dare I say real professionalism coming to the sport in terms of off-season preparation and physical preparation.

Great to see Graves doing so well so soon. He's been training his ass off since the end of last season, trying to completely reshape his body to get into DH shape. He'd spent the last ~5 years of his life with an extremely specific training plan to have maximum power and efficiency for the +/- 45 second effort it takes to win 4x. His goal going into 2012 was to drop over 20 pounds in muscle mass in order to be more fit for the longer format DH races, and it looks like it's paying off. The dude is an animal.

If graves does well at SA (is it the first round?) i think he could be a big threat for the rest of the season.

Might be safe to say that Fairclough left specialized to avoid being the third wheel. I honestly think Brosnan will continue to outshine Hill..which will be an odd position for Hill to be in.

Great to see Graves' apparently successful focus on DH. He's always been one of my favorite riders! I hope he can keep up in the techinical.
