Tomac isn't Gwin's secret. While he's part of the formula, the man on the machine still has to dial up a time. If it was the man behind the man, no one but Camellini would ever win again. ;)

we're you replying to me?
if so, i think everyone knows that but tomac is a legend and he's currently a part of gwin's program and success. i can't be the only one interested in hearing his words on the kid, training and racing bicycles.

Sshhhhhh, Rufus is fapping.
Yeah Lee, don't be excited to see one of our East Coast juniors doing well in the world cups.

You are becoming more and more of a cunt by the day, but I still miss your smiling face.

How are you doing on that world cup season of yours?

for a guy capable of top 5's, thats a hateful thing to say
I think he is talking about Matt Beer, not to be confused with Nick Beer. ;)
Root Beer, Ale, Stout, Porter and such are different beers as well. :D

I'm still surprised how Gwin doesn't crash. That's the real question for me. Given what Steave talked found and talked about in the suspension stiffy topic Gwins super firm setup may be a noticeable part of why he carries so much damn speed. I'd really like a comparison of his setup vs other riders because I doubt Gee or Greg are less fit than him and it seems very strange that Gwin has found a space formula for carrying more speed over straight portions of the track than every other rider on the planet.

Cunny in the booth with Warner = excellent excellent commentating. Loving it. Cunny brings poise and technical knowledge to the wildness and sheer excitement of Warner. Great broadcast by RB. Loving it.
I agree. It was nice to have contrasting commentating styles. It got a little tiresome to have both Page and Warner yelling at the same time, all the time.

Im talking about "Matt". A Canadian from Newfoundland, grew up riding tracks similar to Val di sole only about 1:40 seconds long in his his home town. So ya id say im pretty stoked for the guy, but no worries im sure hell be up in the top some day.

medford, or
Highlights for me from the broadcast:

1) Gwin win by so much holy cow
2) Hill's line and roost on the last couple of corners
3) Rude's style over the road gap
4) Bird pooping in mid flight
Couldnt agree more! Hills run was sick. His lines at the bottom were nuts. Inside line into the right handed coming into the open was hairball. Only guy to take that line. Wish he could have kept his feet on might have been top 5.

And Rude... Hopefully he keeps coming along. It would pretty cool to see two Americans on the box.

So much thanks to red bull for an awesome feed. Wish rocky road could get someone with half a brain to interview the riders.

Its not his bike or its setup. Its not even his training. Some things really do not need analyzing.
The sky is blue, water is wet, and Aaron Gwinn is the fastest mother****er on the planet on a bicycle.

I'll drink to that.

Great American victory today for Gwin, it's not that the other riders were slow but rather Aaron was just amazingly fast when he put that run together with so much speed and focus.

woops, didn't realize you said matt.

Anyway, nick beer was making it up there and then had a big injury and hasn't been the same since. Impressive ride for matt beer if thats his first WC!

also, watching their suspension I think gees is just as stiff as gwins, I think gwin is just ridiculously fast.

Amazing! ...and thank you PB for not putting the winners name in the title this time around;). So psyched about Gwins win.

Just noticed on the replay that is says gwin is the current national champ...way to go rocky roads  (at least i hope that is on RR and not red bull, for RB picking up the broadcast has been awesome thus far)

I just watched this again

Gwin just finished what Sam started.
Yeah, you can see them looking fast in the same way, it's composed and all but the bike just skips along the ground in the straight sections.

I don't think Gwin is any more fit than Gee or has better bike handling skills than Minaar, I think it's mostly down to the mental bit, just realizing it's possible to go that fast. It was the same with Harts WC run in the wet, if you look at that run you see him riding it like it's dry just railing the corners and atacking where even the other top guys backed of and skidded foot out.

I'm happy for you but he has to be fastest somewhere and it's not his crazy line choice because there are other riders who go more often for strange lines. Looking at vids of him he just carries more speeed and it's hard to do something like that on pure skill on such level since it's just a basic activity. He trans with Tomac and Johnny was always about little tricks like that. The only problem I see is having enough strength to muscle your bike enough to get traction and not crash.

Am I still the only one turned off by warner? Great footage but man, I wanted to hit mute on his mic and tone down the cliches for a run or two.

I don't mind warner, more turned off by the interviewers they seem to find - they're absolutely terrible haha. Picking eye-candy instead of a male doesn't solve the problem of them being completely clueless!

Although the feed is great and the cost is free, so it's all dandy really.

That was some sick racing going on in Italy - crazy speed of Gwin!

And Hill is such a blast to watch - drifting and loosing pedals all the time........ Bring on FB!!!!

Yeah, sick riding indeed. That track was so rough, that the flat pedal riders were struggling keeping their feet on the pedals...
Ratboys crash was a bit tragic.
Brendog only 24th? What happened?
