I switched to Fox News last night after they called the election. Megyn Kelly had the same look on her face my wife did during her last transvaginal ultrasound. I thought that was fitting. God, it was glorious.

Rush Limbaugh was amazing this morning too. I kept waiting for the gunshot...

The transvaginal ultrasound?
Well, if I wasn't in the room for that, I wouldn't have known where exactly I had last seen Megyn Kelly's facial expression :D

Also, any legislator that adds an invasive imaging procedure into a BS "Pro-life" bill needs to just die. Curl up, and die. You are evil.

I blame Obama for the tranny.

Today: not much I can think of to be thankful for. So much dissapointment in what the American people have become. We seem to have become a nation overtaken with people who don't have any drive for success or appreciation for accomplishments. Instead so many feel they are entitled and want someone to take care of them. It's sad to see people base their vote on social issues instead of what best for making this country strong again. Jealous of those that have worked hard for what they have and feel successful people owe them something. News flash the rich didn't get rich because they're stupid!! They will find ways to hobble you at the knee's! ...... Up side is nobody can blame Bush anymore because Obama and his minions have just inherited the worst economy ever!! YOU own it now!...... For those that understand, prepare yourself for tranny!

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-05/republican-heavy-counties-eat-up-most-food-stamp-growth.html

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said in May that he’d written off votes from 47 percent of Americans who are collecting government aid. Turns out many of them are part of his political base.

Seventy percent of counties with the fastest-growth in food-stamp aid during the last four years voted for the Republican presidential candidate in 2008, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture data compiled by Bloomberg.

some other nuggets of gold/common sense from that article:

"Latinos were disillusioned with Barack Obama, but they are absolutely terrified by the idea of Mitt Romney,"
also this, and i thought they didn't believe in climate change:

Many campaign aides pointed the finger at Sandy, the punishing superstorm and October surprise that razed the East Coast and consumed news coverage for what was supposed to be the final full week of campaigning

more:

After being criticized in the media for focusing on "small things" like Big Bird and "Romnesia," Sandy offered Obama a chance to once again look presidential.
also, obama doesn't seem to hate women.

yep, romney & the GOP continue to grow out-of-touch with the twitterphiles, horribly indebted, disproportionately under- or un-employed, "unchurched"...

you could break it out by color if it helps, but i believe the divide is most strongly against ideologies

My stepmother has always been a bit of an enigma. Super nice lady, I have never heard her say a unpleasant word about anything. She has always been a strong republican supporter. Last night the facade broke, apparently the election the election was a fraud, a mass conspiracy ran by the muslim/atheist/communist/nazis.
The muslim/atheist/communist rants started by email from my family already. Delete and I have become friends.

It's not a normal occurrence. 100% pleasure today though.

I do have to say, if Rush doesn't buy his own bull****, he's a hell of an actor.
from HuffPost comments:
I certainly hope that the Republican party will continue to listen to Rush on political issues. He's certainly helped in 2008 and 2012 and with his continued guidance I'm sure similar results can be obtained in 2016.

Filters. It'll only take a few times of, "Didn't you get my email?" before they stop asking...
But replying with a link to Goatse is a much more direct way of saying fvck off.

It's hard to filter my Dad and Grandparent's. Especially when they actually pay for the stock/market research I use... I need the emails, so I just delete them.

Yes I do believe the a large portion of Mitts supporters are out and out racists, they hate everyone that is not white and christian
Obama is white, and Christian. Just not white or Christian enough. There certainly are those that do not like Obama because of his race/name but I really think a good portion of the population bought into the hate and vitriol that was created as a means to make him an ineffective president once the Republicans realized that their reign of terror had ended.

The one right wing nut job in my office disappeared yesterday afternoon...we actually went looking for him and found him sitting alone at Burger King, muttering into a cup of coffeee. I wonder if my asking him "So what freedoms specifically, have you lost?" set him off?

You would have thought that the hangar had been repurposed as a puppy killing factory when I walked in yesterday morning. Silence and long faces everywhere.

Just turned on the news and a GOP talking head spouting how Sandy "cost" Romney the election. A resounding victory apparently has nothing to do with policy and everything to do with weather...

I would love to know how large the stoney demographic was in this election. By that I mean people who are fairly conservative fiscally, more liberal socially and are exposed to thoughts outside of the right wing bubble. I can't help but think the lack of workable fiscal plan along with the hard right turn on social issues drove away a measurable chunk of the electorate.
