For some reason here in Socal, everyone just loves teh kendas, probably the pricing for what your getting. Do not get me wrong, kenda had some good offerings, but seems here people have a hard on for the nevegal, and it just fits loose..... always saw those dis mounting themselves....

I take that back. The Ummagumma Special Ed tire I tried in the mid-90's was orders of magnitudes worse.

Anyways, this warm weather is nice for melting the snow in the northeast though I'm sure the trails are slop.
My bikes in the shop waiting for parts so riding is on hold for now.

I prefer a bit of packed snow and 25-35F to this sloppy mess.

with all this rain, the trails were the consistency of day-old grits, so i rode the MUP. it's just good to get out and pedal.

friday night #2 son had two basketball games, school and league, and then we hosted some guys who came to town for a church campus retreat. they were good guys, amazingly well-spoken and able to communicate with grownups.
saturday we went to #1 son's theater rehearsal to take headshots for the program for the upcoming show. took #2 to the gym where he was videoing games for a kid's bball league. steaks, salad, and couscous for dinner. i have no idea why tbones would be 3.99 a pound, but they were.
today we went to church, had lunch, watched a little football, i took a nap, went out for a ride on the mup, came back, and watched the texans lose
and been messing around on the puter since.

Slow weekend here. Some walking fun at Cape Ann today, fog gave the seashore a bit of extra appeal.

Went for a hike with a big armful of trail tools. I did a tiny bit of work but mostly I was there to plant tools. I'm moving out of the area on Tuesday and I'm travelling light. In the spring I'll get in touch with a couple of the local trail builders a give them directions to find their "presents".
I also broke in to somebody's garage and left them a mountain bike. They won't find it till spring either.
This is more fun than the last time I moved even though I gave away WAY more stuff then.
