I've ridden a Manitou on a DHX5 before. The Manitou coils are slightly bigger, but they work fine. This one is about 2 1/2 years old, I think. It came on an '07 V-10 that I bought second hand last year. I don't know if that guy bought it new or not. I bought a new shock when I got that bike, and the 550# wasn't near strong enough for me. I ride a 700# spring on the V10.
